1. Embryo Cryopreservation

Embryo cryopreservation allows you to safeguard valuable research strains against loss caused by disease, breeding cessation or problems within your facility. With Cyagen's embryo cryopreservation service, you can protect your valuable strains with reduced cost in the long term. Procedures for embryo cryopreservation include superovulation of embryo donors (generally, female mice aged 3-4 weeks of the same background as the embryo donors.), mating of superovulated females to male mice, collection of two-cell embryos, cryopreservation of two-cell embryos, quality control throughout cryopreservation process and storage in liquid nitrogen.

2. Sperm Cryopreservation

Sperm cryopreservation creates a cost-effective and safety way to protect live animal colonies. Cyagen offers sperm cryopreservation service to back up your live animal colonies. Procedures for sperm cryopreservation include euthanizing 2 male mice from each line to be cryopreserved, collection and cryopreservation of sperm, quality control throughout cryopreservation process and storage in liquid nitrogen.
